To become Miss America's Outstanding Teen, a contestant must first win a local competition
and then compete to represent her state, a process requiring personal commitment, hard work
and talent. To compete in the Miss America's Outstanding Teen program, you need commitment,
perseverance, talent and ambition.

Judging
Process
Preliminary Scoring
During competition the weighting of scores awarded
per category is distributed as follows:
30% - Interview
10% - Lifestyle and Fitness in Sportswear
35% - Talent
15% - Evening Wear
05% - On-Stage Question
05% - Scholastic Achievement (judged by a separate panel of educators, based
on school transcripts and extracurricular activities [as found on resumes])

Since we have less than 5 contestants, all 4 will be on the final ballot.
The contestant with the most points will be Miss DC's Outstanding Teen.
